Another strong grid assembled at Brands for Round 2 of the Aero Racing Morgan Challenge. Once again the weather was cold and wet making the circuit a real challenge.
Daniel Lee in his Class B +8 took a convincing pole, with the Class A cars not able to get their power down. Tony Rivers was an outstanding 5th over all and Class R pole, with Simon Scott taking his 2nd Class E pole in his RTCC prepared 4/4 Competition. The race proved to be dry which allowed Philip Goddards Class A car to take a dominant win. Tony took Class R after a race long battle with Kelvin Laidlaw, while Simon Scott scored his first class win from John Bevan.
Roger Whiteside had his first outing in his RTCC built 1964 4/4 FIA car in Ecurie GTS and had 2 excellent runs to shake her down ahead of the Spa 6 hours in September.
