Morgan Motorsport Dealer
In November 2004 Richard put a proposal to the Morgan Motor Company to run a new racing class within the Morgan challenge race championship for the new Lightweight Roadster V6. 
This was embraced with enthusiasm by the directors who agreed to supply a race ready Lightweight from the factory to a limited number of long standing dealers geographically spread around the UK who could look after sales and in many cases ongoing preparation of the race cars for customers.
As the originator and co-ordinator of the Roadster Cup, and a highly experienced racer and preparer, Richard Thorne was appointed one of only 6 Morgan Motorsport dealers.
